confused

i am 18 years olds and  if i get hep B will my immune system clear it up automatically or will i become chronically infected ????????

if you got hbv at birth it is now chronic, do you know if you and your mother were free of hbv at birth?

if no, check hbcab igm, if negative you got it since birth as all people, getting infected as adults has only about 4% of chronicity, this 4% is people with suppressed immune systems or during pregnancy
