dna nd fibroscan result

hi sir,
this is dinkar, from varanasi.i m a graduate in economics nd wish 2 do many things in life ahead.but, perhaps life doesn't want 2 support me. I m so depressed nd lost all hopes from life.so,pls help me as soon as u rcv my query.
I was encountrd with jaundice in jan,10 nd during test first time detected HBsAg.then gone under test nd found HBsAg +ve(250) under elisa method,eAg -ve. After curing jaundice i had normal ALT & AST.then tested for HBV-DNA which was undetectable in april,10. After that time i have twice tested for sAg(remain same 250) nd normal ALT & AST.but, now a days i was having dark urine nd faded stool nd when gone for test, results r as following:
    HBsAg-250 (+ve), ALT-43 & AST-32
Fibrosis- 7.6kpa(stiffness),10 valid nd 1 in valid. A/G ratio- 1.22. Nd,
DNA- 16.8 IU/ml. Doctor told me to go for biopsy.
I m so depressed nd worried.i wish 2 know what all it means? Do i need treatment? Wht should i do? Has my liver damaged largely? How much time i have left in life?
Pls reply me soon sir.it is do or die situation for me.i wll be thankful 2 you.

No doubt Stefano has better knowledge but to give you hope  I must tell you are going to die of HBV. We have people chronically infected since birth or early childhood and yet spend normal life although have more chances of liver cancer than anybody without HBV. Its a very slow virus and sometime can remain there for ages without causing any problems. Dont worry too much! you still have life ahead of you.

time i have twice tested for sAg(remain same 250)

elisa is an old test and not good for infected person since it is qualitative and not quantitative, 250 is the reagent so doesn t make a quantitative result of hbsag

check if you can get hbsg quantitative in iu/ml, abbott architect with diluition is the most used to quantitate hbsag.if you see a decreasing quantity you are clearing infected cells and virus, if it is increasing or stable you are going towards cronic hbv

hbvdna and alt/ast are useless to see if you are clearing virus or becoming cronic and they flactuate between normal and abnormal in cronic hbv.

Fibrosis- 7.6kpa(stiffness),10 valid nd 1 in valid. A/G ratio- 1.22. Nd,
this is not useful now unless we know that you already have cronic hbv from years.in acute hbv fibriscan gives values like in cirrhosis but you have not, this is due to alt flares during acute hbv and liver inflammation and not due to fibrosis.
recheck fibroscan 6 months and 12 months after alt less than 100 and the reading will be about fibrosis at that time
anyway even if it was fibrosis 7.6 is very low so 99% your liver has no damage, just monitor every 6 months if it decreases

DNA- 16.8 IU/ml. Doctor told me to go for biopsy.
useless you have fibroscan to monitor

if hbsag still pos after 6 months from initial hbv you can try peginterferon+ntz+etv or tnf
