dose Chronic Hep b cause the liver swelling

I am a hbv carrier. i feel my liver swelling since last year. my doctor has given me Liver function test, Ultrasound and CT, all of then turn out to be negative. so he said there is nothing to do with your liver. i could not believe him, then i kept shifting from one doctor to another, but none fo them could explain my problem. i am very depressed now. i just wonder dose dose Chronic Hep b cause the liver swelling and is there any other tests i can do except what i have done.

c scan would show enlarged liver...make sure it's not something completely different going on...don't just get stuck on the liver thing...also you could get the blood tests, the hepatic panel to check alt and ast...etc...i suppose there is a possibility of fluid build up in the area caused by several possible reasons one of which has something to do with heart problems...i don't remember the name of it...

could you have cracked a rib or something that causing inflamation (inflammation) to the area? have you taken any falls lately or something like that?

I think i did not hurt my rib before, can u specify the case u mention related to fluid build, thank u.

I have it too sometimes. Try to eat healthy food for liver and dont eat fat thing and dont drink alcohol.

yes chev and keane, that's what it's called...but, there can be several reasons for this swelling or pain so just make sure your dr. covers all territory....
