kababayan wag matakot. read more sa community na ito. yun nraramdaman mo ngaun ay nramdaman na din ng karamihan na may ganitong kondisyon at malalagpasan mo din yan at di kayo dapat maghiwalay ng girlfriend mo.

to cajim/stefano:
looks like many of my fellow filipino(philippines) are joining the community. we are around 13million infected here in our country, thatsmore than 10% of our population so not surprising many are joining. but unfortunately not all HBV procedure like fibroscan are available here. and also,anti-viral drugs are more expensive here compare to your country so many cannot afford to take such drugs. we just hope there are more alternative way/method for less fortunate people like us to fight HBV..

God bless...

on most hbv is dormant already (low replication), you just have to monitor when it gets active if it makes damage during years (it takes years/whole life to make damage), post her tests, test needed are here:
http://www.medhelp.org/health_pages/Hepatitis/HepB-Introduction--Welcome-Page/show/34?cid=153

in case hbv is active these are the only drugs for first line treatment (all the others must not be used anymore because weak and make resistance):
tenofovir: most active,1% sides on kideny function/bone mineral density, hbe positive 10% eradication of hbv, hbe negative 0%, no resistance
entecavir, no sides, hbe positive about 8-10% eradication, hbe negative 3% eradication, 1.2% resistance
interferon, many heavy sides, 1-2years treatment, 11% eradication, no resistance, by 12week it is possible to see if it might eradicate hbv or not

also tenofovir will probably eradicate hbv by 15-20 years but nobody has reached so many years on therapy yet to confirm it, patients who did not develop resistance on weak old drugs (very rare on old drugs) have reached very low levels of cccdna (virus)/eradicted hbv in 10-13 years
