If a person's hepatitis B profile found that HBSAG positive , HBeag negative  and  Anti-HBeAG Positive (Status is  without any medicines) means most likely the infection is acquired as adult and may be at little risk of long-term complications and  transmitting infection to others, Is it true?
If a infection is perinatally acquired , is it possible to have HBeag negative  and  Anti-HBeAG Positive with normal liver enzymes even in 20's , 30's and 40's.

1. The 'e' antigen can flip flop back and forth over the life of the disease. Nothing can really tell you if you aquired the disease as an adult or a child. If your surface antigen (HBsAG) has been positive for 6 months or longer, then you are considered chronic and most likely it will be a life long affair.

2. Yes it is possible to be "e" antigen positive and antibody negative with normal ALT if infected at birth or as a child.
