it's more contagious but in developed countries most people is vaccinated especially young ones. Also 95% of infected adult people will fight virus by their immune system
HBsAg is not "contagious", it is just a protein. I think you mean HBV, the virus itself. It has always been claimed that HBV is "100" times more infectious than HIV. Personally, I dislike this claim, as it is rather meaningless without context. Worldwide, over 350 million people are chronic with Hepatitis B, this compared with 170 million for Hepatitis C. I don't know the figure for HIV/AIDS.
