My test result ( PCR test report) in   09/August/ 2007

HBV quantitative        1.47*1000   IU/ml
HBV qualitative            1470

LIVER ENZYMES:

AST : 13
ALT :  22
Alk.ph: 102

In 11/11/2007    i took (zeffix) for 6 months  (end in 11/5/2008)

My test result ( HBsAg test) in   23/02/2008

HBsAg       59.02 S/N   REACTIVE

Note: The result test is under treatment (zeffix)

Old tests:

My test result ( HBsAg test) in   11/11/2003

HBsAg         326.01 S/N           REACTIVE
COREM       0.10  index           NONREACTIVE
HBe_2         0.29 S/CO            NONREACTIVE

My test result ( HBsAg test) in   06/03/2005

HBsAg         249.82 S/N           REACTIVE
HBe_2         0.40 S/CO            NONREACTIVE

Then in 2003: HBsAg           326.01
in 2005 : HBsAg                  249.82
in 2008 (New):  HBsAg          59.02

What does that mean as I note that the figure declined even reached 59.02

Decline in your viral load could be a result of the zeffix treatment.  Antivirals or nucleoside analogues are designed to deliberately interfere with HBV's DNA so it can't reproduce itself. Zeffix reduces VL to undetectable HBV NDA in about 65% of adults who take it.

There is no cure for this monster. Approved drugs for treatment are not designed to cure.
Your ALT, AST and Alk.ph are within normal range probably due to treatment. 1% patients clear the virus in a year on their own.

I hope you clear this virus very soon.

Thank you Mr Jack

Does he figure is less than one (<1)  becomes a negative result (HBsAg) ?

I noticed others persons not infected with the virus have this figure is less than one.

When the figure I have less than one you become negative result?

If your HBV DNA was under 2000 IU/ml and your ALT was in the 20s, what was the specific reason to treat with Zeffix?

If you have chronic HepB, your HBsAg will likely not become negative.  The figures just fluctuates.  As Jack pointed out, there is no cure for chronic HepB.

Thank you steven

The virus, which is suffering from the virus is not active, I took treatment until missing.
