help think i made a mistake

hi
well lats year i had some real stomack pain..and after a week of blood work i found my self having a hep b..and sgot: 171 and sgpt:414...taking lamivudine (zeffix,epivir) for 6 months things really went fine and had my sgot and sgpt fine..and like for a year for every month check things are ok till today when i check for my sgot there were :118..but i know what i did i took a medecine without telling the doctor that am having probleme..i called him and he told me to stop it?
now i only gonna see my liver doctor till july since am waiting for new medecine for hep b to be on market since he told me that it was approved by fda...
my question
do i need to see my liver doctor immeditaly...
and is any one tried the interferon as a treteament?
cause i really would love to wait for the new medecine i heard that interferon is bad ?
