because hbsag is not produced by virions but by hbv template integrated in our dna in liver cells.so you can have zero virions but blood full of hbsag particles from our integrated dna
wahy HBSAG increase with the decrease of HBV DNA
there is no correlation with hbvdna decline and hbsag decline.to say that antiviral is working hbvdna must be und fast but even if it gets und in 2 weeks there can be hbsag increase instead of decline
these parameters are not correlated
dear stef u started etv as per my doctor advise since couple day ago i have given my blood sample for test and i will share my result with
hbeag is not that important, you have to look at hbsag quantity and hbvdna absolutely undetectable
if you consider that all antivirals have little effect on hbsag why you started with etv which is not the most potent one?
dear stef my goal is to remove hbsag .... kindky tell me through etv my HBeAg become zero?
hbvdna 800 after one year is an extremely bad result and risk of mutations is possible, add tenofovir absolutely as i suggested and then discontinue etv
if your goal was lower hbsag you should have used the most potent antiviral tdf
antiviral lower hbvdna and virions but increase cccdna recycle inside cells, i think this happened with you.it did the same thing on me too i went from 4800 to 7200 and then up and down in following years 5500 to 7000
i suggest you make 1 month of entecavir plus tenofovir and when hbvdna und discontinue etv.this is just a try but at least using tdf you are sure of superior potency
hello stef 3.1 iu/ml ...... and i want hbsag zero for my job
hello sorte yes u r right very close but unfortunately its become 1850 am shocked.... is there any relation between pcr and hbsag ?
dear stephen am on treatment since a year with entacaviar 0.5 mg
that s probably not quantitative, 3.1 is not a quantity
HBs 3.1 was very close to undetectable, what treatment did you receive ?
Are you still on treatment or have you stopped? What was the treatment?
