hep b after vaccination

I recieved the hepatitis b vaccine in '97 and  was diagnosed with the disease a few years later. Now I'm at risk of develpoing lung cancer and my unborn baby is at risk of getting this disease and has to be vaccinated at birth, with no garauntee that she will not get the disease. What do I do? I'm overwhelmed.

First --- you were vaccinated in 97. DID YOU RECEIVE ALL 3 SHOTS?

Second --- Can you give me your lab results that say you are "infected" --- because those who have the HEPB vaccine can show positive results in some areas on the tests - but be HEPB free... It's just the antibodies from the vaccination.

Third --- take a deep breath and tell your results.. OKAY?

If you have HBV, either your vaccination did not work (due to incompletion?) or you had HBV prior to vaccination.

Your coming baby has a good chance of not getting HBV.  Just follow the vaccination procedure of the hospital.
