hep b/c symptoms

My 11 yr old son has just been tested for hepatitis b and c.  He has been ill for the past three months and hep was overlooked as being a possible cause even though he had a bad infection on his head following having his head shaved and patterns put in his hair .  He has a lot of symptoms but never looked jaundiced (just pale) Is it possible that he has hep without the signs of jaundice even though he has other symptoms? We have to wait two weeks for the blood test results.

Anything is possible, but wait for the results.  It's useless to guess at this point.  Good luck.
