hepatitis B

I'm a hbv patient for more than two years, the results of my lab tests are as follows:
HBsAg=reactive
Ant HBs= non reactive
HBeAg= non reactive
Ant HBe= reactive
Ant HBc= reactive
HBv viral load = below detection limit.
ALT=26
AST=22
my questions, does this implies one of the following:
1.  chronic HVB carrier?
2. acute HVB carrier?
finally, please help me interpret the results.

@ Aduiski I'm male. I was on medication taking lamivudine, although I was told that its outdated drug, since I'm exposed to it the only option left for me is to shift to tenofovir 300mg when I met a specialist. is their any hope of me clearing d virus?

I was taking this lamivudine about 10 years ago, and back then not many choice available, dr. told me i have the wild type, the goal was to suppress the hbv virus, and after about 1 year, developed resistance and mutated, i asked the dr. what does that mean, and the dr. said now there is more type of virus in my system, luckily dr. prescribed the newly viread that was not even approved for hbv patient yet at the time, and the hbv quickly came under control in 6 months and no resistance either.   Everyone's liver conditions and live style is different, it did not work well for me, but i did read about some patient seroconverted. And upto today, i am still not sure because of this mutations has helped my immuse system recognized the virus and developed hbv surf antibody after 8 years on viread, or i am just plain lucky.

my above comments are valid if you are a male, but if you are a female then you should know that normal ALT values are bellow 19 (for males normal ALT values are bellow 30)

- chronic hepatitis b
- currently your virus is controlled well by your immune system (but it doesn't mean it will stay that way)
- make sure to test your ALT and HBV-viral-load every 6-12 months to monitor your virus and initiate treatment on time if it becomes necessary
