hepatitis b
can i get hep b from my husband if am vaccinated and have positive antibodies? we are thinking about having kids. is it ok for us to have kids?

Hi there,
If you have completed the immunization series you have 100%, long-term protection. Since your blood test shows positive antibodies (HBsAb+), you are protected against a hepatitis B infection. Is your husband hepatitis B positive? You can plan your family but it is suggested to discuss it with a hepatologist before taking up any decision. Do write to me again with more queries.
