what happens if u took lamivudine for 3 months for fHbsAg (no HbeAg) then stopped for 2 months and your LFT got worst, do you start the drug and complete for 6 months? or what do you advice me to do?

since you have used lamivudine the virus can be mutated now and the only drugs you can use are interferon or tenofovir, no other durgs

lamivudine is not a hbv drug anymore and it is useless on hbv so you have just wasted money, all antivirals are useless on hbv infection, they can only lower replication to lower liver damage but most hbv carriers have even no liver damage so look for an expert liver specialist to guide you or check all forum posts

the only drugs to use safely to block liver damage are: interferon, tenofovir, entecavir.all useless to cure hbv used as monotherapy

the only combination who showed hbv cure in a high percentage is use of tenofovir or entecavir or both for 1-3 years and then peginterferon add on for other 2 years.cure rate is 40% in first year of combo
