can a person with a positive hepatitis b surface antigen become negative?

There is a 1% chance of losing the surface antigen if you are chronic (which it appears you are).  Treatment options are for disease management but are not a cure.  Monitor your liver enzymes and viral load levels regularly.  Yet another situation in which knowledge is power. Best.
