Hi there,
The anti-HBc is the earliest antibody which develops in response to acute hepatitis B virus and IgG anti-HBc may persist lifelong. What are your HBsag and anti-Hbs test values? Isolated anti-HBc positive can result from a false positive test, the presence of IgM anti-HBc during the window period following acute HBV infection or any remote infection with HBV without persistent viremia, or remote infection with persistent occult infection. It is important to know your complete medical history before interpreting these test results. Consult your doctor and discuss these test results. I hope it helps.
Take care and regards!
