iam medico
i happen to take a 3 dose vaccination during my 1st year mbbs course . Why do all medical students take those vaccination pls answer

When you work in the medical field, you are at a higher risk of contracting HBV than the general population because you will be working in close contact with blood and other bodily fluids.

You get vaccinated so that you can become immune to HBV and not have to worry about catching it.

I personally think that everyone should be vaccinated that has not received the vaccinations already. Not just those that work in the medical field. Better safe than sorry.
