i'm hepatitis b positive

I heen tested to be hepatitis b positive and gp.ask to repeat my blood test again,any way I know that's I'm carrier for 13 years ago but doctor in thailand just tell me that i'm carrier nevertell me about the effect.and tell me to have a blood test every 6 month.but i did check up only 1 time and is normal.until i came to uk I aware of my health more and have know more over the internet.so I'm very worry!If the result come out i'm still carrier what is posible happen to me because i never have any symptoms at all I'm now 33 years old.
