HBV DNA test is a blood test.
how HBV DNA be done, is it like blood screening as well?
thank you! :)
Your lab results indicate you are:
HBsAg reactive = you have Hep B
anti-HBs non-reactive = you do not have antibodies against HBV
HBeAg non-reactive, anti-HBe reactive = you are at a stage not too infectious.
You could be an inactive carrier.
It is helpful if you could test your HBV DNA which can tell how stable you are.
Hope this helps.
thank you very much..
i had the result since last year dec. 05/07, since then i never had a blood screen again because im so afraid what will be the result is, coz until now i cant accept the fact the i have this infection (its nearly a year since i got the result) thank god i found this site and it makes me better to understand more about hep b. can you advice me what to do next?
by the way this is the result:

can you explain me this pls. thank you. (esp. the note above)
Right, if you develop anti-HBs during your acute infection period, it means your body had the upper hand in its fight against the virus, cleared it, and developed immunity against it.
