is there any cure for hbsag positive

i wanted to donate blood for my sick grand father who is in the hospital i had gone for screening an i was fount to be hbsagpositive and my doctor told me to do varies of test which i have done all where negative except hbsag which is positive ? and my doctor said it is not curable and he told me to go what should i do

maybe a web search on hbsag positive will give you some answers. Your doctor should know if there is a remedy and he said  there isn't.  Is he a hepatologist? if he is not, maybe a consult with one can give you some peace of mind.

Dude i have hbsag.........please give me some suggestions how to cure it as adoctor told me there is no medicine for this....my office management has *** to know and they asked to go from the office.....wat is my lyf....is this serious?

the only med active against hbsag is alinia but the use on hbv is off label.

it acts against hbsag but anyway it requires years and it might not work, check the quantity of hbsag if it is low chances might be higher.it doesn't attack the virus but the host so resistance is not an issue, it has mainly no sides

if you have active disease you might try interferon but only if disease is active (hbvdna pos, alt'ast high) and this is can be very heavy sides with very low chance of hbsag eradication

What is the news you are saying?

You had acute Hbv that heals by itself in 95% of the cases...
