is there still no complete cure for our beloved hepa b?
its gonna be one year since i was in dubai and went home because of hepa b, the worst thing that happen in my life. i feel like i was cheated and that my future and my dreams disappear all of a sudden. i have thought that having an hiv is better than having hepa b coz at least hiv have complete cure nowadays. i keep on praying that one of this days there be also complete cure for hepa b. those who are infected like me will consider it as the biggest miracle of life, lots will gain back again their hope of working abroad and earning enough...so help us GOD.

I am from the Hep.C forum and I don't know much about treating Hep.B but I just read your post and I want to tell you that you are right. Even in the U.S. it is hard to get treatment if you do not have money but there are possibilities.
To be in Africa or many other countries where the drugs are not available for treatment is terrible.

never true..i was there just last year and what happened is that i was sent home. damnnn...that could be the best time of my life by providing for my family. i dont know if we ever be cure from this.
But I have heared that UAE is now accepting Hep B positive to work there and ther eis no restriction any more. this is a recent change.

Really guys starting a drug with all the research and clinical trials is 300-500 million USD. It's never for free.

Damn i didnt know this..all of those innocent doctors told me theres no cure and that im going to live a life thats so disappointing and no hope because of Hepa B. That medicine is what we are all been waiting for and please to the people concern, dont let us wait for 4-5years..

Replicor has it.. Rep9AC - based on the data they presented clears HBV in 7-12 days. That is why I tell you guys, we need to organize and make noise..
As far HIV cure with bone marrow transplant they knew it even as far as back as 10 years ago because the Japanese treat HTLV cases that go symptomatic this way for a long time.. . and HIV is 90% HTLV.
Anyway, HBV is and was always treatable. It is nowhere near as complex as HIV.. Combo treatment with interferon or interferon along always has had some success..
90 week of interferon + ribavirin or other antiviral worked.. Antiviral + Zadaxin also have good reports.. google it and see the results.
But ask yourself WHY all this is not a part of standard therapy what they know? Why we are being fed mindlessly toxic anti HIV agents that are incapable of clearing the virus and that produce super viruses quite ofter as well that NO therapy can take care of at the moment?
Ask yourself why clinical trials are only done with 10-12 people at a the time? And why discoveries of cures or better treatments are being only shared on industry insider conventions rather then going public to the media and saying WE have a CURE.. (sorry for this word Industry - that medicine has become ) Ask that a CEO of Replicor? Why we have to wait 4-5 years? And is he OK with young people dieing before they work out the legal nonsense to make the drug available.. This is not how you save lives by waiting 4-5 years on the drug that can help now.
There is all these agents right now that work better and that can help our immune system to clear the virus but they don't give it to us.. In fact the way clinical trials are done in the US one can't really figure out, who is they really want to take. We have to show that HBV community is not just a bunch of low social economic - sexually promiscuous dead beat folks that are not aware of the medicines available today..but actually real people and in no less more professional then they are in our field of work.
And that our lives yes are ruined because of HBV. And that we don't understand just like any normal human being can't why is that if there is a drug that cures HBV in 7-12 days is not being given to more people to and they are being silent about..
We have to stand together and keep writing to Replicor.. they have to release the drug now. First to people that can pay for it to show it works to nay sayers and their big pharma competition that probably negotiating with them to buy it and put it under the table for 10-12 years unless they have to.. and then we go real viral and ask for governments to help eradicate. having same feeling very upset now a days i can not forget this ancident from my childhood study very hard and got admission in Engineering in one of best university of my country after completing my graduation again spent 2 very dificult year even i work free for organization to gain experienc and at last i got one of best job my dream was about to fullfilled all my family member were very happy when i was selected for a very good position but during my medical fitnees test i was diagonesd with hbv and decleraed medically unfit for job now it seems that i have spoiled all my early life now dont know what to do my family is upset especiaaly my parents who were toughting that after completing my study they will spent restful life but due this hbv ............................
