knowing the virus

Does any one got hepatitis B as a adult ( over 16 years) and become chronic?
If so kindly tell me other complications / health conditions ( like diabetes, use of birth control pills , other hepatitis viruses etc while on treatment for hepatitis B) making this virus stay in the blood even after 6 months becoming chronic. This info may be helpful to fellow heppers. Kindly share
