Hi guys read my story
I m 21 yr old I had sex with prostitute on august the sex was protected ...first I were worry about hiv .. I wait for 3 moths than I took HIV test came out negative.   But at that time I not aware about hep B ...now I m fearing about hep b ..please answer my question
1.Can I get hep B through protected sex
2. If I came positive for hep b   CAn I take hep b vaccine yet as I have exposure around august and it has been since 5 month I have not taken any vaccine .. And acute hep b stage last till six months.   I have left one month only ..Do still I have a chance

You seem to be a responsible person to have protected sex. So there shouldn't be too much to worry.

HBV is not that scary at all. Even if you contracted it, you can naturally remove it at very high percentage, even without vaccination. (vaccines are not very effecient for long term anyway).

It is fascinating that you talk about life expectancy. My opinion is you might even live much longer if you have this virus. As you start to take care of yourself, you lead healty life style, you avoid alcohol, avoid smoking etc. So, it is not necessarily a bad thing to get the virus. So my advice is RELAX.

Adults clear hbv by immune system and no treatment is needed or authorized on acute hbv because immune system will clear it

hbv makes no damage to us, it is immune system of some chronic carriers to make damage in a life time.usually after 45-50yo after carrying the virus from birth.treatments will block the virus from making damage but are prescribed only if liver develops damage

Some doctor say sometimes acute virus took 1 yr to get rid from the body ;-(

R u sure ...my immune will kick acute hbv infection ... I mean what factor will be there ...

No its not spread through protected sex. So nothing to worry, get vaccination for future and feel relax.

95 percent of addult persons recovered naturally through hbv, hbv virus is serious only for childs sincs they have weak immune, so dont worry. And if you have still any doubt check hbsag test, and one more thing in this forum all
