can all hep b patients get the cancer of the liver and can it be treated for you to live.

Hi there,
A chronic infection with the hepatitis B virus is the most common risk factor for liver cancer .People  chronically infected with HBV are almost 100 times more likely to develop liver cancer than uninfected people .In hepatitis B the virus directly and repeatedly attacks the liver which leads to progressive liver damage and liver cancer. The survival rates are very low in liver cancer and it depends on presence of other liver problems like cirrhosis which itself can be fatal. Do keep me posted.
Best luck and regards!
