romark has started development of thiazolides also for Herpes simplex virus and Respiratory syncitial virus besides hcv, hbv, flu viruses.
they are probably improving the chemical structure as an antiviral instead antibacteria/antiparassites/antiviral as normal alinia, to get to the higher more potent doses without sides
nitazoxanide was also found active on in vitro cancer cell growth in some part of the stomach, don t remember if colon, Helicobacter pylori, tuberculosis.
they are all thiazolides they act on immune system so probably almost all viruses has a responce, they started with hcv for market reasons but if you see research posted the effect of ntz on hcv is the weakest and while hbv herpes and probably flu has the strongest
But all these are for HCV. Any hope for HBV? It seems that Rep 9AC has some problems, according to one expert.
