keep in mind that it can help with interferon to boost response, used as monotherapy it never worked on members who tried it

dose can be from 1,5g to 3,5g, the drugs has a short half life of about 4-5 hrs so yo should try to take the 500mg pills with meals every 5 hrs.

for hcv a 4-12weeks lead in was used so it may be useful for hbv too, emebers had decline of hbsag in the first 12 week and then relapsed so maybe adding intf when ntz has lowered hbsag a bit may work

let us know about your hbsag quant, that is the most important, and keep in mind also ezetimibe may help intf response.also statins like simvastatin were reported to boost response a little but better not mix 2 statins, in a report researchers of ezetimibe effect on hbv and hcv suggested the use of ezetimibe with interferon but without simvastin

ezetimibe dose is 10-20mg daily but human trials with dose 50mg daily for a limited time did not find any sides or toxicity
