question for friend

I have an aunt on combination therapy, baraclude and viread.  She wants to know if her eyes will clear up and become white eventually.  Does anyone have any experience with this?  Will they always be slightly yellow?

The yellowing is jaundice, a symptoms of hepatitis and / or poor liver function.  It's elevation of bilirubin.

Will it go away depends the status of her aunt's liver.  If liver is in good shape and she has an acute infection, then yes, the yellowing will go away.

If she has a chronic infection for many years and her liver is in bad shape with constant elevation of bilirubin, then the yellowing will likely stick around for awhile.
