sharing the same utensils with a Hep B is it ok?

just 3 years ago my brother had his medical test and the result is he is positive in hep B and last year my sister had her medical test and she is also positive in hep b and just this year when i have my medical exam in my new job i am positive in hep b so the company did not accept me because of my hep b. .. both of my parents dont have a hep b, it is  possible that i get this hep b from using the same kitchen utensils like spoons, fork, glasses with my brother and sister who is positive in hep b? and one thing also me and my sister sometimes we shared our clean underware like bras and panties and we share the same bed at home. i really want to know your ideas!!!! please please please because right now im very hopeless that i cannot get my dream job because they will require a medical exam.

how come you didnt get tested for hepB three years ago when you found out your brother had it ? i dont get that .

it takes a considerable amount of saliva to get infected with hepB so i think the chance of getting the virus through sharing utensils may be possible medically but its chances are very slim . also sharing panties and bras with your sister isnt infectious either . they are clean, free of any blood from your or her monthly cycle so again chances are very very slim with that one.. it is mind boggling how the three of you have it but neither parent does.

well, not getting your dream job of a crusher and it hurts but i have to say that your health must come first now so you need to see a liver specialist right away to better understand your current status with hepB. get tested again with  a full hepB profile , DNA quant , and liver panel profile.  it is important you, your sister and youir brother all get tested and see how much damage IF ANY this virus has caused you guys.

good luck and let us know how you all are doing.

It really doesn't matter how you got it.  Possibly through vaccinations in early childhood.  Maybe you got it first and gave it to them.  Its very common for children to pass it to each other because viral loads are so high during the immune tolerant phase.  Its less common for teenagers to pass it through casual contact.

yah your right bbery its a mind boggling, we are 5 siblings in our family i have 3 brothers and 1 younger sister, 3 of us are positive in hep b, our elder brother my younger sister and me. my 2 brothers they are normal but they already have their vaccine, i was not able to have a medical exam 3 years ago because we are very confident in what the doctor told us that hep b is not contagious, it is contagious through sex and blood contact. ....and just this year im really shock as i get my medical result that i am positive in hep b...... to be honest i dont even experienced sex its because of our culture and i have fear also in getting married at the early age and not being stable..... . im not into drugs i dont have tattoo, do you think i get inffected with my brother and sister whos positive in hep b? i dont really have an idea were did i get this hep b. my medical result is HBsAg. is there a chance for me to have a good job? right now im saving a money for my treatment because the doctor told me that the treatment is expensive because i will undego different check ups and blood test. is that true? thanks alot bbery for your reply it really helps me....
