nitazoxanide 2g daily with food about every 5 hours, if your hbvdna is positive combo with inteferon or tenofovir has best results
i'd suggest a 12weeks leadin with ntz and after combo with interferon, therapy is off label, chances to clear hbsag are high
other therapies by giudelines are monotherapies with: interferon, tenofovir or entecavir but none of these clears hbsag (only about 10% clears in 1-10 years with the lower rates with entecavir and tenofovir)
entecavir and tenofovir cannot be stopped once started, interferon can be stopped and nitazoxanide can be stopped if hbsag gets very low
