i also remember another study where intf good response increased also vit d so maybe the fact you get 113ng/ml by about 5000iu vit d3 daily is a sign your immune system or condition is improving.for me the minimum dose is still 10.000iu daily otherwise i get levels less than 60ng/ml

also consider latest study i linked about trl 7 activation by vit d and that changes of around 1000iu/ml hbvdna have very little if no meaning it is better to consider logs but yours is so low so dont worry about hbvdna

if 40.8ng/ml is vit d result it is still deficent, optimum levels are 60-90ng/ml and for all cancer types prevention high normal range around 90ng/ml

it seams that HVB DNA and d3 have no direct relation. even if I still have D3 (not regular, but from time to time) my HVB DNA increase over time (even if in my last report i was glad tht decrease)

So below you have a list with my resluts

HBeAg - negativ

HVB DNA
618 UI/ml - Julay 2012 -  - keep taking Vit D3 from time to time
34 IU/ml - March 2012  - keep taking Vit D3 from time to time
117 IU/ml - November 2011 - start Vit D3
97 IU/ml - May 2011

qHBsAg
7845.14IU/ml - March 2012
8654,95 IU/ml -  November 2011

ALT
14 - July 2012
19 - March 2012
20 - November 2011
18 - July 2011
14 - May 2011,

AST
20 - July 2012
25 - March 2012
23 - November 2011
22 - July 2011
21 - May 2011

Fibroscan:
5.3 Kpa - July 2012
5.1 Kpa - July 2011

Serum Iron:
115 - July 2012
118 - March 2012
157 - November 2011
176 - July 2011

I will try to have it more regular and report back the results

just checked my vit d: taking 5000iu daily and 10.000iu only few days weekly it lowered to 58ng/ml, so i definitely cannot use less than 10.000iu of d3

last reading was 72ng/ml in march

do you corroborate this results with some other indicators like ALT/AST, HVB DNA, qHBsAG, .... ?

it s best to lower it within 90-100ng/ml since we dont know if higher values than 100 have higher response, be sure to drink at least 2liters of water a day

hi guys.. latest lab VITD 113 ng/ml.. i've also decreased weekly quantity to 40000iu.. total calcium 9,3  (max 10.60)

yes.. do agree.. i'll get urine labs and will report!

i see calcium even decreased instead of increasing.....false terrorism from drug makers is present for sure around vit d

anyway i d keep vit d levels at around 100ng/ml not more even if levels at 120-140ng/ml have been registered in a farmer with no issues

last lab.. approx 60000iu / week intake is 100 ng/ml..

total calcium 8,6  (max 10.50) so it's not making any damage..

i guess that according to severity of liver damage or immune balance it is easier or difficult to reach that range, me and my sister cannot get it over around 70ng/ml even with 10.000iu daily

my father, which has no hbv and supposed to be cleared of any infections, could reach 85ng/ml in 3 months of 10.000iu daily

I' ve  been taking 10000iu daily since around Nov 2011 and it has risen to 90 ng/ml

my vit d is around 43 and I have been taking 2000 to 4000 IU/day; How much I should take to bring up to 70 or 80? How fast vit d goes up once I increase the intake? Thank you.

my sisters update, vit d 68,1ng/ml at 20 april 2012:
alt  26 prev 31
ast 24 prev 23

hbvdna 58000iu/ml prev 42000iu/ml, stable
hbsag 20790iu/ml  prev 17400iu/ml increase

i dont report all liver function values but they are all on the best optimum range like ggt, afp and so on

i think vit d values on the 80-90 may influence hbvdna on the lowering

I just read that grmr his on tdf+intf - good luck on this :)

Is possible that vit D is related to a lower side in INF, if I remember correct grmr have been on INF couple of years back and he can made a compassion (I think that we can made a supposition that couple of time ago he was with a lower value of vit D then now)

grmr is on tdf+intf so the only connection we can do is on intf sides to none

after may i will be able to confirm if vitd25oh serum levels around 70-80ng/ml are able to make no intf sides and improve also intf response

@grmr
"Got labs on VITD3 count after 3/4 months of 10000iu dailiìy intake..

October 2011  23ng/mL
March 2012    88ng/mL"

do you have also some other test results (ALT / AST/ HBSAg/ HVB DNA/ ....) ... to be able to see a possible connection ?

I will continue to have the same supplements for the next 3 month and see after that what are the benefits.

as a good suggestion is that all of us to check the vit D and if they are under the limits to try to increase it (sun , supplemental ...)

(more helpfully will be if some other people will report the results to have more results)
