when did you take your vaccine ?
after you tested negative in 2005 ? or when you found out you were reactive to hbsag

im asking because you said you " did not seroconvert" . seroconvert from what ?

at any case, find out from your doctor if you are acute or chronic. maybe you're acute and if that is the casee then two things ; first , you conracted the virus within the last 2 week to less than 6 month and still have a VERY good chance at reconvering from it and becoming immune from it for life.

if you are chornic ( virus in you for longer than 6 months and you havent recovered), then you need to take care of your health, see a specialist ASAP to determine your current status from this disease. you need to run a liver panel test ( ALT, AST ) in addition to a complete hep B profile ( HBSAG, HBSAB, BHEAG, HBEAB, HBCAB) and DNA QUANT.

do not forget that you are pregnant, it is very very important your doctor knows about this so they can take preventive measure for the baby so that he or she is vaccined and taken care of right after birth.

you need more info in regards to your status. if you run the tests i mentioned above, i am sure we can help you a lot better than just knowing you are reactive which is the one basic thing that tells someone has it or not but it doesnt give any details .

good luck to you and please tell you ob or primary physician that you are reactive to it so that the baby is safe

If your repeat test still shows HBsAg (+) then you have chronic Hep B and vaccination is not useful now.

Many mothers with HBV have healthy babies.  You just have to take the necessary precautions and work with your doctors.

If your markers are posted correctly, it could be that you were infected sometime during the past 2 years or you had a false positive on one of your test.  Retest and review results with your doctor.  Good luck.
