why my gastro doctor only advice vitamins for me?
why my gastro doctor only advice vitamins for me and avoid alcohol? he's a very experienced gastro doctor coz i saw lots of plaques i even saw his membership as a doctor in U.S. and the hospital he belong is popular here in the philippines. are the anti-viral drugs not available here in the Phil.or he don't really advice anti-viral drugs for it really not advisable? or its just that my hepa b is not that serious? any comment pls..

food supplements safe like silymarin?
yes it is but not when on antivirals,
more potent on liver fibrosis and cancer preventio:
3 cups of coffee or more daily, 153gr of bluberries daily, blackrise, all foods rich in antioxidant
if you search under HR or hepatitis researcher you will find the most imporant and interesting posts of this community.this researcher posted in 2007-2008
but all this is useless if you have hbvdna detectable and alt higher than 30, otherwise you must first block virus replication otherwise damage on liver is endless dispite your diet and supplements

ciao stefano! so therefore you prefer not taking multivitamins? and its better to get vitamins from natural source like fruits & veggies. are liver food supplements safe like silymarin? what food supplements you prefer? you a big help for us stefano,"una mano aiuta l'altra".

multivitamins are useless because chmicals, you need to check what vitamins are you missing from blood tests and take them only if you are missing some, if you take without checking levels you jts make damage and if you takes chemical vitamins you probably make damage
you might need these but only from organic sources (diet or expensive vitamins from natural extract pills) and only after you see you have defincency:
selenium, blood levels which boost immune system 130-150, all other levels although might be normal decrease immune system
vitamin D, 50-60ng/ml (from little sun exposure if possible), other levels are normal but they don t boost immune response
vitamin C, E from diet
as you see only small ranges among nomral ranges boost immune system, other normal ranges do nothing, so taking multivitamins without control is not good at all
thanks for the info stephano,i'm sorry i'm just beginning to be aware of this situation. to concerned811,doctor just advice me multivitamins "enervon c" popular brand here in the phil.. cheap but he said that its the best multivitamins he trust.
