Slight increase in my LFT's ??

I'm just curious if this is any cause for concern.  Back in Sept. my LFT's were as follows  ALT: 32  AST 47.  On my fasting labs from Tues.  My ALT: 55 and my AST: 63      I didn't talk to the doctor's office, but we have what is called a Patient Access Link where they can post results (not the viral loads though).  I went up on it and searched for Tues.'s date.  Is this anything to be concerned about that they are headed in the wrong direction.  Shouldn't they be going down, not up, since if I am in fact, undetected??   Or is this just a normal bump up after come off of interferon?  Remember I was on Peg/Riba/Sovaldi.  I know I've been extraordinarily tired lately.  I just assumed it was the holidays and being post treatment.  Any thoughts?  I don't want to worry and freak out unnecessarily.  I think that my main contact at the doctor's office may be on vacation and that his 'stand-in' may have posted these.  Because I tryed to call the guy twice, left messages on his voice mail and the receptionist's.  This was before I just went only the site and checked to see if they were posted. At least the good news is the my fasting blood sugar and thyroid are still normal. Praise God for that.  Susan400

I initially posted this before I got the call on my viral load on Fri. morning.  So, now I know why the LFT's bumped up. It does make sense.  The weird thing is when the CMA told me that I had relapsed, that my virus was detected, I completely forgot to ask what the viral load numbers looked like?? Not that it really matters much, but since I didn't have the paper in front of me, I have not idea why he didn't tell me and why I didn't ask.

Good night....

Hi Susan, I took Interferon, Peg and Incivek. While my enzymes were lower than they had been in years they did fluctuate immediately after tx.  I think everything did as my body reset.   Sorry I did not see this last night.
I can understand being tired, it is Christmas and we all tend to do more from Thanksgiving on.  I think it is your body normalizing.  Of course, as always I am not a doctor but wishing you the best my friend :)

Susan:  This is probably nothing to worry about.  I believe I saw someone post that their LFTs fluctuated on Harvoni.  Sorry I can't remember the thread. Hopins someone with a memory will see this and list how you can find that thread, or restate their info here.

When is your next Dr Appt?

Hang in there and don't start stressing!  Pat
