+ Anit-HCV Question

In January of this this year I had a low s/c ratio + Anti HCV test that registered 2.29 scale >1<8. I went on to have an indeterminate RIBA, and a negative PCR. Recently we found out that we were expecting and my OB ran another Anti HCV which came back positive at 2.84 on the same scale. I am awaiting my 2nd PCR results now.

I have two questions and I apologize in advance if they are stupid.

1. Does my rise in antibodies have any correlation with possible virus progression?
2. Is it normal for antibody levels to change?

Just taking a -total- guess here, but I think the reference ranges are important.  :)

With a neg. PCR there is no virus progression..You do not have HCV....
