02-11-05 Friday Fight Song (Oldie)

by Eyedeas, Feb 11, 2005 12:00AM
When I'm 64
The Beatles

When I do tx now, losing my hair
6 months or a year
Will you still be sending me a valentine,
Birthday greetings, I'll pass on the wine!

If I've been up till quarter to three
Pacing every floor?
Will you still need me,
Will you still feed me,
When I'm doing tx once more?

In the summer I will keep my skin a ghastly pasty white,
Cause I'll burn real fast
Oh, you'd feel older too - Ah
And if you say the word, I would stay with you

I could be cranky, blowing a fuse
Snapping left and right
You might forget that I am really on your side,
One day I'm Jeckyl, the next day I'm Hyde

Doing my shot night, taking my meds
Who could ask for more?
Will you still need me,
Will you still feed me,
When I'm doing tx once more?

Every day the brain fog hits and makes it real hard to think
That's why I'm not too clear
We shall list our sides, every week's a new experience,
Hear me rant and rave

You send me a postcard, drop me a line
Keeping out of view
I know that I appear to be running amok,
Yours sincerely "Hit By The Truck"

Give me an answer, fill in a form,
Mine forevermore
Will you still need me,
Will you still feed me,
When I'm doing tx once more?

HOW THE HECK IS EVERYONE HERE? LONG TIME NO HEAR...computers been down and i just finished stage one in fixing it now i can type with out cutting and pasteing certain letters in...you don't appreciate what you have till it's gone...

how is honey and chevy and cindee and all my sweety pies here? is everyone doing well? my last two pcr's have come up negative so my new specialist dr. cotler at uic wants me to concider going 9 more months...i am a breakthrough patient having cleared and then having the virus return durring tx...now showing clear again...been on tx now for 1 year and 3 months...what do you guys think? is anyone else here had a breakthrough durring tx? how did you fair after that??? did you ever clear???

people have told me breakthrough is much worse than relaps as far as odds of clearing...anyone else heard this? what are the odds???

went on vacation and got into a car accident and messed up my back...more pain to add into the mix...i gotta get an mri and xray for that now, but not sure what they do if they find cracked rib or torn cartalidge...do they just let that heal on it's own or what?

i hope everyone is doing well it's nice to be back....

you are my sweety! such a kind and wonderful friend! Chev i am so glad you are doing well...i know God answers our prayers...he always does the right thing for us even when we don't know what's right for us...i have so much peace in knowing that, otherwise i'd be a mess...

the kitty's are doing wonderful...so far still just little sneezes here and there...i pray they will stay healthy...all four of them follow me everywhere...everywhere!!! even to the loo...:O) where they all sit waiting patiently!!! hee hee, so funny...your two little sweeties, honeypunkin and dreamer, are doing wonderful and so precious...they're still best buds and play alot together...and so are lil chev (fuzzy), and miss sweetie!!! i am taking good care of our babies...they're getting lots of love...and special treatment!!!they even have there own bedroom that they love for toys, nap and treat time...and to give simba needed breaks from thier rambunciousness...they love simba! as if they know he is special...honey pumkin always lays right on top of him even if simba growls...he won't take no for an answer...he insists simba love him...simba let's himself be loved...but at times has a cut off point...it's interesting and kind of like a pride of lions over here :O)

chev,i'm so thankful for your clearance and recovery...what a wonderful thing to happen to such a sweet person...

luv ya lot's,

sandi

it's good to read you again!  what a visual to  imagine 4 little ones gawking at you while sitting on the john..lol.
great news on tha PCR!! far out! I can't remember if all your PCRs were the same range?  were they all very sensitive ones. qualitative or quantitative? because if they were a high range one that detected negative and then a very sensitive one detected positive, maybe it was not a breakthrough after all, I can't remember what you posted...I have found that the last two yrs are not very full of detailed memories....
by all means go the extra time if you can, maybe even longer if you can tolerate it, for good measure.
I will know in about a week if my 18 months  worked, I am planning the PCR on Monday.
be well

hi cutie pie, wow the big test is comming up for you huh? i pray like mad your clear as can be...18 months...wow!!! you and i have been arround for a long time over here... we've seen alot of people come and go...thank you for always being there for me...:O) you've always been one of my sweeties!!!

ya, i think it was unfortunately a real breakthrough..."below" detectable on a test of 615iu and then "over 2,000iu" on heptimax months later...but now regestering clear on a recent heptimax...so i will keep on keep'n on....

but i wonder what the difference is between breakthrough and non responder really...because both never "really" clear...in both there are hidden lurking virus'that never really go away...it's just that in breakthrough they at some point reach detectable levels...i guess i'm hovering around the detectable non detectable range so some days i'm probably above and some days under...that's my best guess.

luv ya, sandi
