No. Not at all. Not even close.
Hepatitis c is generally a very slow moving disease. Often without symptons for many years. The fact that you got it recently works in your favor.
First of all, you really should see a liver specialist (hepatologist) or at least a GI (gastronenterologist) to make sure that you really have hepatitis c. They can usually be found at your larger, teaching hospitals.
You may not even have hepatitis c. Sometimes people test positive but find out they really don't have it after further testing.
But even if it turns out you do have hepatitis c, it's very curable with today's drugs, and hopefully will be more curable in a few years with newer drugs they are now testing.
Many people don't need to treat right away -- some can safely wait for years -- and that is something you can discuss with your doctor.
There's no reason to be scared or depressed. You and your miracle baby are going to be fine.

Read and learn, but don't let it scare you. You should focus on having a healty, calm pregnancy.
Consider a OB doc that deals with high risk moms due to your other problems.
I understand your concern. Getting more information and educating yourself with help ease your fears.
The question I believe is if the author who got hep c from the father of the baby recieved a death sentence from getting hep c.
