1st injection last night

Well, I finally bit the bullet and did it.  Took Riba with dinner, then first shot about two hours before bedtime.  The Riba seemed to make me feel sort of spacy, floaty (if that's a word), and the Peg-Intron didn't do anything at all - UNTIL about 5 AM when the shivers came on.  That lasted a couple of hours, followed by a pressing headache on my forehead, which I still have.  But my sides are not that bad actually.  If the first shot is the worst, this is unpleasant but bearable.

I'm taking the day off work, but if I had to I could function on the job, although it would not be particularly enjoyable.  Hopefully the headache will vanish soon.

   Great news.   Some of us have not gotten there yet.  HAPPY NEW YEAR.

   Here is what works for me.  I do my Riba when I get home at 4:30.  About an hour later I do my Peg.   About 3 or 4 hours later I take an extra tylenol AND  a PM Tylenol.   I sleep like a baby.  Next day pretty good.

Wtg on starting TX.  your first night sounds like mine was.  Just minor sides compared to what I had heard.  as time goes on you will get different ones but so far Mine have not been as bad as the first night of chills.  Good luck on treatment
