thanks for letting me know rash could happen at beginning of tx since most of the threads I read seem to indicate that rashes occur around the 10th or the 12th week after starting tx....that is some consolation
Regards
Congrats on taking that huge step toward freeing your body of this virus. I can't remember if I had any rashes at the beginning. I have had them through tx and they do come a go. This might noy be true I am not one to study medical reasons for any sx. But I know when we had are Santa ana winds (dry conditions) it seemes to get worse. So being active on staying hydrated all the time and using skin moituriser seemed to help.
It is so good for you to be participateing in this forum. There is a force here a true power that can help show you how to do this tx.

thats the right thing to do..learn from the experience of others first, keep on reading the threads here, keep the records of all your labs, get to know the meaning of all the labwork and when you gut feeling tells you that you are ready for the big step..go for it
thats what I did...hope it works out
what are your stats?
Regards
Congrats for starting tx! Thats great if you are having no sx and hope it remains that way
I always have a water bottle kept next to me even in the office when I am having a meeting! Try to drink minimum four and a half litres a day based on my weight
Both of us have started the journey at the same station so I guess we have to keep looking each other up
what are your stats?
Regards
Back to work today and still have the rash but thinking positively that this is temporary and hope it goes away
Is it ok to use Vaseline moisturizer for the rashes?
Sorry about your hip pain....hope it gets better

I have started consuming more water than I imangined I was capable of!
I guess the vaseline wont help much as my skin is not dry except that the rash looks inflammed and its in streaks and patches in certain parts of my body which keep on appearing and disappearing and keep on changing the location..its already been 2 days like this
called the assistant hepa and she sounded concerned on the phone and tried to zero in on the cause for the rash and couldnt(other factors besides the riba)
told me to continue using the rescue pills for the rash till its shot time on this weekend
By this weekend if the rash does not improve then I would need to see the hepatologist. She was concerned cos based on her experience rash normally appears 4 weeks into tx.Now shes got me worried!
Has anyone stopped tx due to rash problems? If my body cannot accept the rash at the very beginning of tx..it could pose more problems as the tx continues

Best Regards
Whoever knew that Aveeno and Gold Bond would be such important buzz words in our lives...but they sure do!
Thank God for them, I couldn't have made it without them both.
I liked to put the Aveeno bubblebath into my bath with a tiny bit of baby oil to keep my skin moist. It was the only way Icould take a nice hot bath and not come out so dehydrated and itching that I wanted to scream.
When I first started I had read that hint on here. I was so grateful later that someone had passed on that little tiny word of wisdom just in chatting. IT wasn't even a big post or anything.
IT just goes to show how important having others who are going through the same thing as you really and truly is.
