Many people have gone after it two or more times and some with success.  I'm in my second go right now.  If you think about punching your ticket again you should make sure that you have an experienced doc who has experience with hard to treat cases.  And, when it comes to the meds, dosing and duration it does not make sense to do the same thing the second time around.  If the same as the first, the expectations should be the same as the first.  Good luck

Well I was glad to see your post. I'm on my 4/5th treatment and am doing peg and infergen. I thought that it might just be me but this is only my 3rd week on this regimen and I told my husband tonight that I really think this infergen is doing my mind in worst than before. The fog is so heavy I can't see. And where usually I can't sleep I'm sleeping more.Do you have any other advise on the infergen. Remember I'm doing one shot a week of the Peg along with it. But I've done the Peg before and I've done the Infergen before but never together.Anyway I'll quit babbling on incoherently and wait for your response or anyone with heavy Infergen knowledge.

my only experience was infergen daily,15 mcg.knew right away it was much worse than intron a or peg.usually the dose is reduced in a few weeks to 9mcg 3times weekly.loved the dementia, but damn the body aches.couldnt make it past 7months[phys.and mental crash.]muscles melted away.BUT,the virus was und at just a few weeks.i was bridged over from failed peg tx,so dont think they expected me to make it all 48.nurse doesnt expect to see return of virus.im und and laying stone again..infergens looking good for nonresponders.
