Belle,
I am not experiencing any severe sx. I am more tired than normal and tend to nap alot, have a small rash not bad at all on my chest and that is about it. My neutrophils have become quite low .72, and they want to reduce my peg on tuesday but I am pushing hard for neupogen instead. Unless I go to UND in the next couple of weeks, I will drop out. :(
Sounds like you are doing great though, keep us updated on your progress!
That's so awsome! I hope your tx continues to go well for you. I will keep you in my prayers : ) I get my 4 week check up here in a few days I'm hoping for good news.
so sorry that you have to go 48 weeks. how are your sx. are you doing ok? i hope you do good. keep me posted and i will as well. good luck to you.

I am in the same study belle, but in south florida. My VL dropped from 6 million to 453 by week 4, but I just found out this week that because I wasn't UND by week 4 that means 48 weeks of treatment not 24. That was disappointing. But I am happy with the study docs and hope your treatment continues to go well!
bill, this is my first time in tx. i found out in november 2010 that i had hepc. i went to clinicaltrials.gov and researched for trials in my area. i was accepted from scripp's research in the san diego area. some of the best doctor's and excellent care. i feel i'm in good hands. and my study nurse is the BEST!
keep in touch,
belle
Well always great news when things are moving in the right direction like that!
How did you get in the trial and are you a previous non-responder?
That is really good news! We read so much about the bad sx here, as someone who will start tx soon, it is nice to hear you are doing so well.
I hope it stays that way!
I think that I told you I am in a gilead trial as well. I have gotten the best care and support that i could want. I hope it's the same for you

Great belle, This should be an inspiration to those reading about all the nasty sx some experience. You're right. Things might change, but there's no way to predict sx, so keep up the good work. Wishing you an UND soon.
I'm so glad to hear things are going well for you. Which treatment are you doing? I hope you stay sx free but if you don't, this board is the best source of inspiration and encouragement. I've relied on it greatly.
Thats great belle glad that you haven't had any bad sides and that your numbers look so good. Keep it up... it gives me hope even with 13.9 million vl
wishing you lots of good days ahead!
thank you for your support. i wish you good luck in your tx. keep in touch.

Good luck belle I know the feeling I'm only on my second shot and I to haven't had any bad sides as of yet. Don't know if it is dropping my viral load but time will tell. Wishing you smooth sailing.
