Egads, you want to ruin my morning? My friend turned on that horrible T in T show, and I almost gagged. Childabuse!
The serious answer to the question is yes, its' just coffee and they haven't done sufficient studies into what exactly in the coffee helps the liver.
LOL! I really worry about kids drinking them. I saw a few mins of that toddler and Tiaras which in itself is bad enough but I saw mothers giving thier kids Red Bull!
I dont think they said anything about it being caffeine, the studies have always said coffee. Otherwise they'd have treaters all running around high on riba and redbulls - that would not be a good combination dear God ;)
I tried 1 of them once on another treatment it made me puke. I was in Wal Mart and I had to run from one end to the other to make the restroom.
like runincircles say they aren't regulated. I also saw something on Melatonin, in Europe you need a prescription for it. They say you should be very careful using this.
All those energy "supplements" are not regulated and therefore nobody knows what's really in them. I think plain caffeine pills would be better. My stepmom had major dementia like problems from 5 hour energy. She would have blackouts and falling spells and the dr couldn't figure out why. They thought she was having strokes but couldn't find them.
Perhaps strong green tea might help? I like Guayaki Yerba Matte traditional flavor pre-measured into tea bags. Keeps me alert and settles my stomach.
