Good luck.  Keep it positive.  I did #5 last night nothing much to report.  So far so good!

My husband also just started treatment, he took his second shot yesterday. So far he's been feeling pretty good, just very mild flu-like symptoms and some headache, but nothing too bad.  So looks like so far all three of you are doing well.  Hope it stays that way!

Ccurl, when you say it took you four shots to feel anything, do you mean from the interferon?  Or that it took that long for the fatigue (from the riba, probably?) to kick in?

You have to realize that for alot of people the sides don't come to later.  Then they come and go and when you get rid of one another will come then you get rid of that and another will come so please DO NOT be discouraged if they do....it's very normal.

I had no flu anything until about week 30 then it went away again but I had a plethora of other sides very drastically.  The key is you CANNOT give up.

There are things that help with them that most of us know so you just gotta ask and usually somebody can point you in the right direction.

However I do hope that you guys are some of the people (and hubby's) that never get anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  That would be wonderful!

Good luck.

Thank you for your valuable perspective.  I've already been reading a bunch of helpful posts -- including many of yours, so I'll be prepared to help him out if they come.  I know many people don't get "hit" with sx until later -- but I am still hoping he'll get by with light ones, and, most of all, that he'll clear.  That's the main thing.

Still, every good day down is another day closer to the end.
