"Ding-d0ng the witch is dead!
Which old witch? The wicked witch
Ding-d0ng the wicked witch is dead!
Wake up you sleepyhead
Rub your eyes, get out of bed
Wake up the wicked witch is dead
She's gone where the goblins go
Below - below - below
Yo-ho, let's open up and sing and ring the bellsBell's palsy out
Ding D0ng the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low
Let them know the Wicked Witch is dead!"
UND is short for Undetectable, not undies...whoooo wooo
that a good start!!!!!! Congratulations!!!
SRV= sustained viral response......meaning when you get and stay UND for a certain period. depending on what genotype you are yu will need to stay on meds and stay UND for a certain number of weeks, up to a year with 1a, before you will be considered SVR. Some docs are now using the word "cured" instead of just SRV when you get to that point. If you stay UND the whole time forward, until you reach SRV, then your chances of not having a relaspe are very good.
hope that helps.....if any of the above is incorrect, someone correctCorrect (new formula) me.

sorry...me brain dead...I missed the POST in post tx...so yes, that would mean SVR.
I would not go celebrate with a drink though!!!
Go buy yourself some good supplements to help reverse the damage the virus did, unless you were stage/grade 0/0.......you should be able to get back a whole new healthy liver with 1 1/2 years of finishing treatment, assuming you were not too advanced in stage/grade to begin with.
I am so happy to see your post!!!!!!!!!!
You went through so much stress during tx, yet you kept your sense of humor (most of the time ;)
This is awesome, you won't ever have to treat again! Hep C free!
Congrats and good wishes, have a wonderful life...
Hugs,
Bug

I would also monitor at least yearly from now on, just like for cancer, to make sure you remain in remission. Hopefully you won't ever face this again, but keeping an eye on it will mean you can nip it in the bud, and perhaps with better drugs and shorter treatment, if it ever does raise it's ugly head.
Hopefully that will never be the case, but it is wisdom to keep vigilant with yur health.
take care,
maryB
