8 weeks post tx lab results

Just wanted to let everyone know post tx status.  I did triple tx with Vic.  Just got 8 weeks post tx lab work back and HGB (14.4), WBC (6.1), Neutrophils all back to pre tx levels!!!  Don't have VL test back yet, but the good news is that AST is 18 and ALT is 10!!!   My TSH level is 2.5, so it seems my thyroid survived.  But they referred me to an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist as I have some strange lump on my throat and my skin is glued to my esophagus in that area.  Weird.   Also, three yeast infections in 3 months and possibly conjunctivitis.  I didn't get sick all during tx even though my ANC hovered around 400.  So strange it would happen now.

I must have some bacterial infection because although I am happy my WBC and Neuts are up, they are actually a good bit higher than pre tx.  ANC is 4410 and WBC pre tx was 4.1.

Anyway, overall I am happy that my numbers have bounced back so fast and it looks like my enzymes are staying low so should still be UND!!!

Thanks to everyone for your responses!  8 weeks post VL was also UND!  Incredible news!  Turns out thyroid is fine according to exam and test results.

vlrt111- no thrush, just yeast.

Throat lump is reduced,  ENT thinks it was a cyst.. who knows.  Pink eye at the same time!   So taking antiobiotic for both and that should certainly help the yeast.. :)

I will take all of that for SVR and I know I will get that now.  Thanks to Victrelis.

Congrats Sandy!  Your numbers look great.  The normal range for WBC count is 4,300 to 10,800 cells per cubic millimeter (4.3 to 10.8), so your wbc is well within range, although higher than your pre-trt.   Hope the lump in your throat resolves itself and turns out to be nothing of concern.  Best wishes to you for the next PCR.

You may want to do some research into probiotics.

Did you ever have thrush or were the yeast infections purely of the vaginal variety?  The reason I ask is, you could have a more systemic type of yeast infection referred to as candida albicans.
