8 weeks results - RDW

Just got my 8 wks results (the CBC and tha hepatica panel)
Virus count still pending

All tests are normal, except one : RDW, which is high 15.2 (all other numbers inside CBC are normal)

Does this mean some sort/form of anemia?
I do feel tired, when for ex I climb subway stairs I feel like I'm dying right there.

Other than that I'm OK

Thank you

What does your hemoglobin number say?  That is the one that would be an indicator of anemia.

RDW is something like red cell distribution width the variation of the size of the blood cells and it's one of the things that is used to determine anemia but...on it's own and being high I don't think have anything to do with anemia. I don't think it's even really that far out of the ballpark from what I remember.

What is your hemo?  That is the number you need to watch.  HGB

Thanks

HG is normal 14.5

I read at www.labtestsonline.org that RDW may indicate some sort of anemia.
I wouldn't be that concerned unless I wouldn't feel this out of breadth for the smallest phisical task (few stairs)
It wasn't like that before the start of tx

So if it's not anemia, why am I tired when I climb few stairs?
