A Lip Problem!

I am having a lip trouble. A few weeks ago, I noticed a black spot on my lip. It isn't actually on my lip, but it look like it is under the skin of my lip. Since then, it has spread to my entire lip. It makes my lips look chapped and cracked. I have no clue what this is or what to do about it.
Does anyone have any ideas on what it might be and how I can treat it? Thank you in advance for your help.
