A Question

I read bout a man that was Stage 4.....how do you know what Stage you are? Well had my blood test done today soon as it comes back they sart my treatments, i'm still a little scared but really dont have much choice if i wanna live.

They get that info from a biopsy.

Good choice Jody. Im on week 3 now and Im glad I finally started. Ive really had no sides. I thought it was going to be he11, but so far so good!

Did you have a biopsy done yet? They will probably do one before you start tx. and also an ultrasound. The dr should discuss  the outcome of this with you and he will tell you your stage and grade. wishes :) shelly

I had a ultrasound and biopsy last year after i found out i had hep c....all they told me was i had minimal damage.

Hi Jody.You should fine out what stage and grade you are from the biopsy. That tells it all.
Being that you did have the biopsy done you should know the results. Its important.
Call your doctor and ask him for it.

hey, minimal is better then maximal huh? lol...guess many of us will be starting soon...best of luck with this...if you have minimal damage, you ain't dying any time soon...my doc told me that a heavy drinker *without* hep c my age?, would probably have more damage then I have, and be much more unhealthy...you'll be fine....maybe we'll be treating at the same time if you decide to treat....
