Nope,
Segment Neutrophil = 45 ... in the "Units" field it shows %
Band Netrophil = 46, expressed as %
After giving the component parts like lymphocyte, etc. it comes to ...
ABS Seg Neut = 6.98 .... in the "Units" field 10^3/UL
ABS Band Neut = 7.12 ... in the same units
Which numbers are used for ANC ?
Remember this was less than 12 hours after taking the Neup shot.
"Other factors contributing to the neutrophilia induced by filgrastim include a substantial (e.g., ninefold) increase in neutrophil production rate, with several extra amplification divisions during neutrophil development, and a shortening (e.g., from the usual 4 or 5 days to 1 day) of the time required for neutrophil precursors to mature and appear in circulation."

Hope you let us know after you talk to your doc.

Are you sure you got the bands percentage correct?
Usually, those little bands form a negligible part of the calculation. If it's 4.6 percent instead, then your ANC would be 7.68, high normal - amazing, given your recent crashes.

Can’t much help on the WBC stuff especially since some labs measure nuet breakdowns in % rather than in raw numbers; though I’ve never heard of anyone being taken off meds for high ANC during treatment ... did your doctor mention a ceiling for ANC?
My husband’s platelets skated down as low as 35, but that was at about week 70 or so… otherwise his platelets hovered in the 40s and 50s and the nurses and docs didn’t bat an eye. And, because he always did his bloodwork late Friday just before his shot, he ALWAYS had lots of large plts – that never raised an eyebrow either, at least not with this particular hepo.
And I’d certainly say that “Less than 43 iu/mL” = HCV RNA not detected. Sounds like you’re holding down the fort. Continued success to you.

PS -Like the one post better than the idea of three.
There are entries on the form for SEG and BAND Neut's given in %. Those are the numbers I thought were supposed to be used.
There is another two entries for ABS SEG (and BAND) Neut's but in previous tests using those numbers would have given me a ANC of .0063. Pretty much being dead territory. I guess. Haha, different calculators put the decimal in different places or don't use them. Around 03:00 I'll figure it out. But it would be much easier if it were by % :)
Some answers, not all or in order.
The single post is fine. Eveyrthing in one place.
Don't worry about platelets bouncing around in the neighborhood of 50. At about 25, platelets would be attention getting. And it seems like you've located the floor of your range, 40 ish.
Many people have seen the 'big or clumping' comment. It likely means he sample was degraded or not handled soon enough. No big deal.
Not sure on your ANC math. I used to get cbc results requiring a calculation, but I don't think those are the right values to use. I have it but it's not accessible to me for a few days. Look on the report for term like 'ANC' or 'Absolute Neut' or ANC. Many doc and pts think ANC down to 300 in acceptable.
