A wild hair!

Okay, I'm a 1b, doing week 18 this friday and just tested undetected at <10 iu. A few weeks back my hair started to thin and break off at different lengths, as well as wanting to go all different directions. I've heard a lot of people talk about thinning, but what's with the breaking off? I've been wearing it in a longer flat top, but just had it shortened to the way I wore it years ago as a jarhead.
I also have a question for the guys. My mustache and beard started getting pretty gnarly and it to thinned and broke off, so they are now gone. Did anyone else have the same thing?
My wife and daughters have only seen me once for about a week about 8 years ago without hair on my face. Like that time, no one will look at me. Hope they can handle my new look for a year! Just venting a bit while my family is LOL!!!!!
