ACUTE

Please help me understand what does abdominal pain means on acute part of HCV is it because of the liver inflammation or is it just generalized abdominal pain?

hi,   it's impossible to say here what's causing your particular sort of abdominal pain.
what I can say is that hcv, among other things, acute or chronic, can and usually does, inflame the liver. though the liver doesen't 'hurt', it does swell and push against other organs, causing discomfort. it feels like something pushing down on the top and right side of my stomach. (for me)
also (for me) eating more than 4oz. or so of red meat, or eating too much of anything at one sitting will cause that pain. also, from previous experience of course, my liver HATE'S alcohol, and will respond accordingly.
I have discovered there is a lot more to learn about a happy relationship with my liver than I could have imagined 6 mos ago. that is why I often visit this forum. many of us have vastly different symptoms and responses, but there are also many similarities.

i was an acute and i had right sided pain without moving or doing anything for a while.

thanks a lot to all but the main factor of abdominal pain will be do to liver inflammation???????
